This is a nice follow-up to "Lovingly Chaotic Nightmares". Your technique is a lot sharper in this piece. The incorporation of the projector adds a lot to the piece, it is just unfortunate that there's so much distance between the wall and the pumpkin. The black area between the top of the pumpkin and the projection is a bit distracting, and I would have loved to see things tightened up just a bit. All that said, it's a marvelous work and your effort shows through.
As a fellow pumpkin carver, I would like to ask if you practice during the non-halloween season. If so, what do you practice with?
To be honest I actually don't really practice. I actually have a line up of other pumpkins to make for other people before I do my own. In a way it's a quick way to get back in the mood of things before I attempt whatever crazy idea I decide to do.
